Postal Swim
This year’s Postal Swim was another success with many swimmers completing a good number of lengths in the hour. 5 Swimmers competed over 4000m including two 11 year olds Ninah Strydom and Imogen Hawkins. Also completing over 4000m were Becky Monaghan, Georgia Miller and Abigail Oram and Fred Biggs with a swim of 4630m. Also some big percentage improvements for some swimmers from last year’s postal swim by 28% by Christopher Vickery, 27% by Poppy Holmes and 24% by Amber Warrender. A special mention must go to 7 year old first timer Samuel Jacobs who swam an amazing 2600m in the hour. Finally the award of a trophy for the most improved percentage increased since last year goes to Bronze Squad swimmer 9 year old Ben Channon with a staggering 49% improvement since last year’s swim and a total of 2,865m. Very well done Ben.
