Many thanks to the parents and swimmers who attended the ( biggest ever) presentation evening and disco. It was wonderful to see so many swimmers receive their medals and trophies. We had lots of new faces this year, and served over 200 hotdogs, and 300+ mini doughnuts/cakes and marshmallows to the 210 attendees. Grateful thanks to all those who helped make it such a success, including the people who kindly donated raffle prizes, the money raised helps cover costs for the evening. The clearing up went very smoothly, no major spillages this year, so I was
able to hand over to the caretaker at 11 PM as planned. We did have one item of lost property, a boys/mens watch. Please contact me at js51sas@btopenworld.com to arrange collection. Next planned event is the BBQ at St Julian's, a wonderful venue and event (The sun always shines) Date in June to be advised. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Susan Simpson Social Secretary
