Success for local boys
The Championships took place at the Wavertree Sports Centre, Liverpool on a windy day, and saw two local boys Alexander Macaulay and Nathan Marsh, both whom go to The Judd and train with Sevenoaks Swimming Club, take part. The boys had previously managed to secure a place after competing in the SE Regional Biathlon event held earlier in May.
The first event took place on a windswept race-track such that the boys had to finish running into a strong headwind. Nathan managed to command the pack from the start and ended up by also taking the fastest run on the day coming in first, with Alexander producing a fourteenth placing under such strong headwinds. The second event took part in the long course pool, which saw Nathan being just beaten at the touch in the final heat into second place, whilst Alexander came in an admirable fifth. Overall the final results for both events gave National Ranking for the boys as Alexander seventh and Nathan first.

Sunday, 5th Feb Training: The Sennocke Centre is open so all training is on, although there is no dry land session for Silver There will be no swimming at Combe Bank on Monday 13th Feb due to half term.
